Nightmare Before Christmas Lock Shock And Barrel

If they’re Oogie Boogie’s minions or Jack Skellington’s semi-reformed misfits, Lock, Shock, and Barrel are some of the most well-known inhabitants of Halloween Town. The sly trio Lock, Shock, and Barrel from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas returns. They look like they have left the film screen; each model has several points of articulation and a cloth-covered costume.

Shock, the sole girl in the group, is the tallest. She’s only a tiny bit larger than Lock and is also the tiniest. She’s dressed as the character of a witch, sporting an ethereal purple witch’s hat, which is roughly the same size (perhaps even more tall) as her. Her hair is coarse and blue, the exact shade like the eye makeup worn to cover her eyes. Her lips are pale blue, and a slender, gray-white face. Her neck and face are long, while her nose appears large and pointed, occupying much of the face. The mask of Shock is a simple green mask with the same big face as that of her, and the mouth is covered in a deep smile. The actress wears a light purple dress with the hem of dark purple and black boots. The gloves are black.

Lock is dressed like an evil demon, sporting a simple, long-sleeved, lengthy red shirt and pants in the same hue. His brown shoes feature pointed toes that curve upwards. His skin is a sloppy grayish-white color. His eyes have a haunting yellow, and his lips are sky blue. The upper lids of his eyes are pink in color, and the lower is the color of periwinkle. His chin is very large, and that top part of the head appears to be flat. The ears are placed rather low to his head, as are his eyebrows. They’re identical in color to his clothing, while all of his hair has a more red-brown shade. His hair is styled so that it has two “horns” in front. His nose is pointed; however, it’s not as big as Shocks. His mask is a faded red face of a devil with horns that curl upwards significantly more than Lock’s hair. The mask’s mouth has been curled into the terrifying smile with sharp teeth.

Barrel is the tiniest and chubbiest and has similar gray-white skin color as his fellows and the forest green lips. His head is spherical, and Barrel is short and has light green hair. His nose is quite tiny compared to the nose of Lock and Shock, and it’s turned up. His bloodshot eyes are close to each other and appear to be sunk into, but this could be an illusion caused due to the dark makeup surrounding the eyes. Barrel dress up as a skeleton wearing grey pants and a similar-colored shirt. Both clothing items are adorned with bones the same size as their places within the body of a human. His feet are peculiarly formed with three toes that are identical in length. His mask is skulls; simple, round, white face with the mouth bare of teeth, set in a wide smile, which is a sign of his smile. Barrel himself is often smiling.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Lock Shock, Lock Barrel is portrayed as Oogie Boogie’s “little men in the henchmen’s uniform.” However, they’re not loyal to Oogie because they are doing a lot of mischiefs to remain at his side (in other words, they serve Oogie because they fear for his safety) and prefer harmless things that they appear to be enjoying more. By instructing them to “leave the account with no credit card, Oogie boogie off of the way! “Jack sends Lock Shock, Lock, and Barrel for “Kidnap their Sandy Claws” (the Halloween Town residents have a mistaken name that is a reference to Santa Claus).

In the beginning, they take an Easter Bunny; after that, Jack apologizes to it and instructs the group to return the bunny home. They capture their ultimate quarry after a few days. The trio follows Santa Claus to Oogie’s abode, in which Oogie confronts and threatens Santa. After Jack beats Oogie and saves Santa Claus, a hatch-over opens as Lock, Shock, and Barrel show up after leading the Mayor to the Oogie’s den. An episode of the deleted scene shows Lock, Shock, and Barrel enjoying themselves while Oogie plays with and teases Santa Claus and Sally the Ragdoll. They are watching through their moving cage, which hangs from a rope. Jack slides to the floor and scares them before entering Oogie’s den.
